Handsome fold-out 1964 Standard Oil road map of Missouri, printed more than 56 years ago.
This map opens to 22" x 25½" and has good detail on old highway alignments, including U.S. Routes 40, 54, 60, 61, 65, and 66, with cartography by the Diversified Map Corporation.
There are inset plans of St. Louis, Kansas City, Columbia, Hannibal, Springfield, St. Joseph, Cape Girardeau, Jefferson City, and Joplin-Carthage.
This map was distributed by the Standard Oil Division of the American Oil Company in 1964 and is dated by the status of highway construction on I-44 and I-70 and the code below the legend:  1624. There is no printed date on the map. Population data is from the 1960 census.
