    Description

    Late 1970s / early 80s SUSAN BENNIS WARREN EDWARDS thigh high boots. Rich camel leather with gold tone metal square shaped studded rivets. Straight boot shaft with angled zig-zag yoke at opening. Yoke has zig-zag embroidery stitches & scattered studs. Lace-up back with fringed leather ties. Inside and outside heels have starburst embroidery stitches & scattered studs. Stacked high heels. Interior boot is dove gray leather. Leather soles with plastic heel taps.
    6.5 - 7.5 US (vintage but seems true to size, I'm a 6.5 narrow and these are long on me, though with inserts they'd be ok).

    These look to have been barely worn. Minimal creasing at ankles and across toes & light wear to soles. Flaws include assorted nicks and scrapes, along with gray marker about 5/8" long on center back left boot, in fact, flaws are primarily to left side. I've included a variety of close-up photos.
    Overall look though, is that these are beautifully made, barely worn boots that would have been very expensive in their day when clients included Bruce Springsteen, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, and Cher, who wore their shoes in Moonstruck.

    •  Insole length from heel to end of toe:  about 9.5 - 10" (but a bit hard to get in there to measure) / 24 - 25.5cm

    •  Outer width at widest point, measured over top of shoe, at ball of foot:  5.75" / 14.5cm
    •  Heel Height (includes 3/8" platform sole):  3.75" / 9cm
    •  Total Boot Height from highest shaft point to floor:  23.25" / 59cm
    •  Opening around Top of Boot:  14.5" / 37cm
