All Bisque Kestner 602 Character ~ Swivel Neck

All Bisque Kestner 602 Character ~ Swivel Neck. 5.5”. Circa 1915. Rare mold. Six piece all-bisque with swivel neck, chubby body and loop strung arms and legs. Brown glass sleep eyes with excellent eyelid wax. Single-stroke eyebrows, finely painted upper and lower lashes, two molded-in teeth and highly blushed cheeks. She has molded/painted black single-strap shoes with brown soles and short blue molded/painted socks. Her legs are marked: 602. 3/0. Although she is unmistakeably a Kestner 602, her head is marked: 14 P.4. N. Several knowledgeable collectors have suggested this doll was made by Kestner for another distributor. Her arms are marked 2/0. Please note that she has had a repair to the thumb on her right hand. I have photographed this repair. She is clean and properly strung. She just needs a wig and dress.
