DESCRIPTION
The small red hook that holds the red rocket capsule in place is broken - a very common product of aging and design; even old shop stock examples have been found with a broken hook. Red capsule will sit in place but is no longer ejectable. Box is missing some inner tab flaps but display very nicely otherwise. One of the harder to find examples in the Pre-Project Sword series.
Apart from the repair which is barely noticeable the toy is in mint condition with the rocket fins and truck antenna still in the original bag. The box is simarly in fantastic clean condition with no damage to the delicate interlocking flaps. There is a small area of surface damage on the right side of the rear box face.

Also, please be aware that close up pictures might emphasize dust and minor imperfections that you won't see with the naked eye. Most of our items are from 30 to 50 years old and will have some degree of stress cracks, crazing, etc. Expect them. We do not highlight 'typical wear' unless we feel it is out of the norm. Additionally, wires get brittle, rubber dry rots, strings get frail. Talking mechanisms go mute. Battery operated items stop working. All our items are sold for display purposes only.  We will always tell you the operability of items in our possession - but we cannot, in any way, offer any guarantees of their continued operability.

J.Rosenthal Toys was a toy company that produced science-fiction themed space ships and related items in the early to mid-1960's.  They would merge with Century 21 Toys in the mid-1960s and go on to produce some of the rare Gerry Anderson inspired space ships under the JR21/ Century 21 Toys brand.  Most of the toys are very colorful styrene models with friction or battery operated mechanisms.
This listing is for a 1966 Spaceship X-60, Space Rocket on Launching Truck.  The wheels are friction - and the red capsule is ejectable!  The toy measures a little over 10" long.  The rear area sports a spinning satellite. Made in Hong Kong.

After 9 months of being punitively punished by eBay for not signing up to their "managed payments" plan, we finally relented when they pulled the plug on ALL our active listings (during this time, we couldn't add or edit listings but could let our normal store items "ride"). Payment
Payment is due within 2 days of auction close or date of purchase - EXCEPTION: if payment is snail mailed, we request it to be mailed within 2 business days.   Ebay insists on PayPal, but we have no problem with just about any other method.  ( Personal cks are held up to 10-15 days to clear.)
California insists we collect 9.25% sales tax for California residents - unless you can provide a valid resale number.
Paypal payments - we will ONLY ship to shipping address listed on Paypal payment.
Communication
We do our best to answer all emails regarding active listings/sold items within one business day.   We  don't always answer offers to take less (if we wanted to list it for less or with a 'make offer' option, we would have) or on closed/sold listings.
Shipping & Handling
We have found that the eBay shipping calculator is often incorrect, so don't count on it as the final word.   We only charge exact shipping/insurance costs. Feel free to email if you feel shipping cost showing up is incorrect.
We have just switched to calculated shipping so please let us know if something seems off.
We offer more than one shipping option.  The cheapest option does NOT always show up first so please look at different options
Paypal payments - we will ONLY ship to shipping address listed on Paypal payment page (this is an eBay and Paypal requirement).
We charge exact shipping and insurance charges on all orders - we do not charge packing nor handling fees. Signature required on all packages over 0.

International buyer pays EXACT shipping & insurance (VAT/Taxes/Duty is the responsibility of the buyer. Please know your own country's fees for imports).
Shipping Time:   Our normal shipping days are Tuesdays and Fridays.  There is a one business day processing time needed for shipments (ie items paid by midnight Sunday will go out Tuesday.  We try to get most items paid on Monday shipped on Tuesday - but if time doesn't permit, please don't expect package to ship until Friday).

Damaged in Shipping/Returns & Refund Policy
Damaged Items:
If an item arrived damaged, contact us immediately.  Please be sure to retain ALL packaging including the box and packing materials, and we will file an insurance claim for you.
Returns:
No returns.  Everything is sold AS-IS.  Buyer is responsible for reading description and reviewing large pictures provided.  The items we sell are vintage collectables so expect natural aging/wear.  However, we will consider return if there was a significant oversight in listing.  Please contact us for authorization. Buyers would be responsible for ALL return shipping and insurance costs. Insurance would be required and must cover the eBay final bid price.  Changes of heart (ie buyer's remorse) will never be a legitimate return reason.  We will not consider for return any 'sealed' item which has been open by buyer - regardless of contents. We also reserve the right to charge a 15% restocking fee for returns or order cancellations - at our discretion.  We do NOT offer partial refunds.
