Ideal  Satellite Launcher Truck with box and instructions,   1957-1959.
This is an excellent example of a 1950's hard plastic space toy.  It measures 17" x 6 1/2" x 6 3/4" with no breaks, cracks or repairs.  The spring powered launcher sends satellites into space and its angle can be changed by means of a turning dial.  The driver's cab rotates 360 degrees by means of a turning dial.  Only 2 of the original 4 polyethylene satellites are present.   The colors of the box are a little faded,  but the box is in excellent condition with no split corners.  The original instructions are also present.
