Very rare and hard to find vintage 1960s NASA Interplanetary Rocket space ship Japanese Battery-op toy measures 15-inch long. FEATURES:
Stop and Go moving action, flashing lights, and top cover opens to reveal inner capsule. Rise up wheel bar was completely Cut off and Missing, so the rocket cannot rise from a horizontal to vertical position. All other features TESTED & WORKING at time of listing. Other than missing wheel bar there are no other significant condition issues. The tin litho in very good condition with just minor paint wear. No cracks or discoloration in plastic.
Requires 2x D batteries (not included). Battery compartment is nice and clean.
Two rubber tires have some center cracking and wear.
Comes in Original Retail Box. Box has some denting, and edge wear.
Please Note the delicate nature of 60s Battery-op toys, can freeze up or stop working during shipment. Should that occur giving it a shake or tap should resume functionality, or if spring of opening panel sticks. Item will be packaged very safely. Item has been kept in a sealed display case of a serious collector for several decades.
