* I am selling this for a friend... He knows little about it other than he found it in a box of old toys at an estate auction a year or so ago and is (1) retiring soon, (2) moving soon, and (3) wants to sell off his antique and collectibles collection.
I know little about it as well
; so I have taken lots of pics. What I have been able to figure out or assume from inspecting the piece and some online research follows.

As you can see, the plastic front enclosure of the package is cracked open (but still attached to backing cardboard). Cardboard backing exhibits excellent coloration with some staining/discoloration and the remnants of a small price tag (on back/reverse). Cord appears NOT to have been unraveled. All pieces exhibit excellent coloration and luster of new items. There is, however, a nick on the rocket ship piece (see next to last pic).
I have
not
tried it out to see if it works; and really would not know what to look for as it is unclear to me what this was supposed to do.
