Description

Classic Vintage 1970's era Scholl Exercise sandals. Bright cherry red leather straps with an adjustable metal buckle. The strap is attached with metal screws holding the leather to the wood. Sized women's 6.
Size is stamped into the sides of each shoe, as well as a stamp that says "Made in Austria." Original stickers present near size stamps. Insides of foot straps are stamped with a red "A." Buckle bears the single word "Scholl." The company did not begin to add the "Dr." until after 1979.
This pair is made with a contoured wooden foot bed. See last photo for profile of foot bed. Unworn, original tag attached to one shoe. Brown textured sole.
Materials: beechwood, leather, metal buckle and screws. Rubber bottoms. Slight oxidation to some of the metal screws (see photos).
