Up for sale is this VERY RARE Circa Early 1920's Paper BOOKMARK with Advertising for: CHARM Brand COFFEE ~ For Sale By SCARCLIFF & TREVORRAH.
The grocery store was located at 209 W Milwaukee St, JANESVILLE, Wis.
It measures 4 3/4" long by 1 1/2" wide.
This would make an outstanding addition to your collection OR would make a wonderful gift!!!
It
is VERY RARE because I haven't found a SINGLE item from the company for sale OR even mentioned on the internet. I can BARELY find any information about the company period.
There are several early 1921-22 Janesville Gazette newspapers have some advertising for the "Scarcliff-Trevorrah" company and give the 209 W Milwaukee St, Janesville, Wis address. There also is a 1921 Polk Wisconsin Business directory that mentions a Day-Scarcliff Co., with Fred S Scarcliff, President & Frank J Trevorrah Secretary / Treasurer. Business is listed as "Grocers" and address is identical to the newspapers.
