Very Rare antique, JD Kestner 247 Germany, 14" bisque, Hilda's baby sister doll

Delightful character baby for  your collection!
Ready for Spring-time is our antique German bisque, solid plaster pate still in place, socket head, character baby doll, by J. D. Kestner known as
"Baby Jean", Hilda's sister
(see page 122-1233, 16th Blue Book-Foulke & page 190, Doll Values, 11th edition-Edward). She measures about 14" long as her knees are in a bent position. She has gorgeous blue glass, sleep eyes, finely painted upper & lower lashes, well defined eye sockets, multi-stroke soft brown brows, chubby cheeks with slight dimples, excellent complexion and cheek blush as well as a lightly outlined open mouth with molded tongue. She has two upper teeth and needs a soft brown or blonde baby style wig to cover her original solid pate and is
incised on the back of her neck:

. Her original, high quality, five-piece baby
body has all the original beautiful finish
with no repaint or damages. She is wearing only her adorable, blue silk baby bonnet with lace trim and pink satin ribbon ties.
Excellent condition with no damages or repairs, beautiful original paint finish, tiny nick on one toe and paint craze on one ankle (age line, not a crack) (loc 39)
She has no chips or hairlines and no repairs or odors as she is from a smoke free home. We will also be listing her
