vintage 1940s Daisy All steel Buck Rogers Atomic space Toy Ray Pistol Gun.
Great condition, trigger needs fixed.
The U-235 Atomic Pistol gun has
a metallic blued finish, a
fluted barrel, fins and a "Fission Control Chamber."
This item shows age and tarnishing to the surface.
Sparking "Fission Control Chamber" does not spark but gun is designed to be opened for flint replacement. This is not a job I wish to undertake.
Produced by Daisy Manufacturing Company of Plymouth Michigan around the mid 1940s.
The four fins around the mid section of the barrel would appear to indicate this is an early post-war incarnation of the toy as opposed to other models with only three fins in this position.
