This vintage Japanese spinning top has a tin top face showing an image of a flying saucer and the words Spinning UFO. The face of the top is 2 and 3/8 inches ( 6 cm) across. The height of the top is between 1.5 and 2 inches.
Unlike many of the similar tops I have, the face of the UFO top is slightly curved. This is a string wind top. No string is available but other similar tops I have had used a rather thick, soft cotton cord.  The underside of the top has a ribbed surface that looks like plastic.
Condition is very good with almost no wear.
