As it rolls forward on two rubber drive wheels with a stabilizing third wheel, the center part, with its three spring antennas slowly spins. Wonderful colors and robot or spaceman images on this mint in box toy. Made in Western Germany.
This toy was in my collection back in the late 1970's. It is exactly the same toy and the box is the same too. However, I think the flying saucers I have now ( which I bought from Germany in the late 1990's) were made from left-over parts at a later date or perhaps reissued by the original manufacturer, most likely in the 1980's or 1990's.
Most have a third wheel (like the one I am offering here) and are the same as my original one, but some only have two wheels. These might be ones made after they ran out of original bottoms. I bought both versions at the same time. Thus my opinion that they were put together at a later date.
Whatever...it is still a fabulous toy.....and being sold at less than my cost.
